Collector Notes: Ana Gabriel live at the Plaza de Toros México — the largest bullring in the world, seating over forty thousand, and about as big a stage as a Mexican artist can be handed. Two full discs from the 1998 concert, her voice in that unmistakable raspy register working through the ranchera and balada catalog she'd built over a decade. Sony Discos, manufactured in the USA. Live records can be filler; this one is the artist at full power in front of a hometown crowd. Booklet shows 2 deep dents on the right side from the plastic holders, and a few wrinkles on the front/back sides. Back insert shows a wrinkly/wavy feel to it.
