About the album
Teen Dream marked the moment Beach House stepped out of the hushed intimacy of their first two records into something fuller and more expansive. Recorded mostly in July 2009 at Dreamland Studios in Hurley, New York, with Chris Coady as co-producer, it is the third album from the American dream pop duo of Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. It was met with critical acclaim on its 2010 release, and Bloom followed in 2012.
