Collector Notes: The Beatles' self-titled 1968 double album, universally known as the White Album for the stark blank cover the band chose as a deliberate contrast to the psychedelic 'Sgt. Pepper' sleeve before it. This is Mobile Fidelity's two-record half-speed mastered edition, cut in Japan, spanning everything from 'Helter Skelter' to 'Blackbird' to 'Revolution 9' — recorded during one of the most famously tense stretches of the band's career. Both records show light surface marks. The white gatefold has staining, rubbing and edge wear. Both lyric sleeves are included however one has a 1" tear as shown in pictures, Records retain great gloss, COMPLETE with MFSL inserts, high quality inner sleeves and lyrics inner sleeve covers. ULTRASONIC CLEANED!
