About the album
Boston's second studio album arrived in 1978, following their debut. Tom Scholz, the band's primary songwriter, produced it, and it was recorded in 1977 and 1978 at his Hideaway Studio; he later claimed Epic executives pushed the band into releasing it before they felt it was ready. The title track reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains one of the band's biggest hits, while "A Man I'll Never Be" and "Feelin' Satisfied" were also released as singles, reaching Nos. 31 and 46. The album reached No. 1 in both the US and Canada.
