About the album
Making Movies is Dire Straits' third studio album, released in October 1980. Jimmy Iovine, who produced it with Mark Knopfler, was instrumental in recruiting E Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan for the sessions. Side one runs "Tunnel of Love" (introduced by "The Carousel Waltz"), "Romeo and Juliet" and "Skateaway," and the first two stayed in the live set through later tours.

Seller's Notes: Import
CD is: Near Mint (NM) played a few times with much care, shows virtually no signs of wear, or signs of being played. Plays and transfers cleanly to any format, with sound that outpaces any streaming platform. Hard to find copy made in Japan for US market. Media looks in Near Mint condition. Case / insert / booklet are: Excellent Plus (EX+). Original case shows normal shelf wear, not broken or cracked, works like it's supposed to. Booklet is clean, but shows 2 dent on the top and bottom sides from the plastic holders, as well as a few wrinkles on the front/back sides. Please see pictures, what you see is what you get. Overall in Excellent Plus condition. Do not let this one pass!
