Collector Notes: The 1969 debut, recorded above a music shop in Denmark Street when Elton was twenty-two, and not released in America until 1975: Empty Sky, Val-Hala, Western Ford Gateway, Hymn 2000, Lady What's Tomorrow, Sails, The Scaffold, Skyline Pigeon, and the Gulliver/Hay Chewed/Reprise closer. Caleb Quaye on guitar, Nigel Olsson on drums for one track. This is the 1995 Classic Years remaster on Rocket with four bonus tracks, Lady Samantha, All Across The Havens, It's Me That You Need and Just Like Strange Rain. Jewel case with the booklet. Disc is in near mint condition, booklet and rear insert are clean and sharp, show minimal signs of wear. Top Copy!
