Collector Notes: The 1989 album Elton and Bernie Taupin wrote as a tribute to the sixties soul records they grew up on: Durban Deep, Healing Hands, Whispers, Club At The End Of The Street, Sleeping With The Past, Stone's Throw From Hurtin', Sacrifice, I Never Knew Her Name, Amazes Me, Blue Avenue. Sacrifice became his first solo UK number one, twenty years into his career. This is the 1998 remaster in the Rocket Remasters series, jewel case with the booklet. Disc is in near mint condition, booklet and rear insert are clean and sharp, show minimal signs of wear. Top Copy!
