Seller's Notes: Import

Collector Notes: On July 16, 1961, Eric Dolphy and trumpeter Booker Little brought a quintet into the Five Spot in New York with Mal Waldron on piano, Richard Davis on bass and Ed Blackwell on drums, and the night became one of the great live jazz records. Fire Waltz, Bee Vamp and The Prophet stretch out with Dolphy's wild alto and bass clarinet against Little's dark trumpet. Little died that October at twenty-three, and Dolphy three years later. Disc is in excellent plus condition. Booklet shows some dents and wrinkles on the front/back sides. Back insert shows dents, and some tiny tears on the spine.

Curated by Collectors, for Collectors. Backed by 20+ years and 25,000+ sales with 100% positive feedback. Every pressing is verified before it ships.
