Seller's Notes: Import

Collector Notes: Glenn Miller's orchestra was the sound of America at the start of the 1940s, and this collection gathers the records that made it. Moonlight Serenade was the band's theme, In The Mood and Tuxedo Junction filled every dance floor, and Chattanooga Choo Choo became the first record ever awarded a gold disc. Pennsylvania Six-Five Thousand, A String Of Pearls, Little Brown Jug and Stardust round out sixteen tracks from a band leader who vanished over the English Channel in 1944. An RCA disc made in Japan by Victor, with the blue-ring label. Disc is in excellent plus condition. Booklet shows a few dents and wrinkles on the front/back sides, but nothing major. Smooth edge case.

Curated by Collectors, for Collectors. Backed by 20+ years and 25,000+ sales with 100% positive feedback. Every pressing is verified before it ships.
