Collector Notes: Digipak shows scuffs/scratches and dents on front/back sides, and corners. Booklet shows a few wrinkles, but nothing major. Ten tracks from the Impulse years, the label Coltrane made his own between 1961 and 1967: Acknowledgement from A Love Supreme, In A Sentimental Mood with Duke Ellington, Naima, Afro Blue, Lush Life with Johnny Hartman singing, Crescent, Alabama, My Favorite Things, and Impressions in a previously unissued take. McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones on most of it, Eric Dolphy on some. Impulse digipak in the orange-spined slipcase, with the booklet, a Verve catalogue insert and the postcard still inside.
