About the album

Released in 1974, Rocka Rolla is Judas Priest's debut and a fascinating glimpse of a band still finding its identity. The production is murky, with technical problems leaving poor sound quality and a hiss, and the songwriting leans more toward hard rock and blues rock, with slight progressive influences, than on later Priest albums. "Winter", "Deep Freeze", "Winter Retreat" and "Cheater" form a suite, though they are listed as separate tracks, and the title track features dual guitars.

Media Condition Near Mint (NM or M-)

Seller's Notes: CD is: Near Mint (NM) played once or twice, shows virtually no signs of wear, plays and transfers cleanly to any format, with sound that outpaces any streaming platform. Hard to find early original copy. Media looks in Near Mint condition. Case / insert / booklet are: Excellent Plus (EX+). Original case shows normal shelf wear, not broken or cracked, works like it's supposed to. Booklet is clean, but shows a light dent on the side, but nothing major. Shows minimal signs of wear and minimal signs of handling, what you see is what you get. Overall in Excellent Plus condition
