About the album

Released in 1983, Lick It Up followed the band's first public appearance without make-up, on MTV, and opened the "unmasked" era for Kiss, an era that would last the next decade. Vinnie Vincent played lead guitar and co-wrote the opening track, "Exciter", and the record built on the harder sound of Creatures of the Night. The album marked a turnaround from the band's flagging fortunes of the previous several years, and the title track has remained a staple of their live shows.

Seller's Notes: CD is: Excellent Plus (EX+) played regularly but with care, shows normal signs of wear, plays and transfers cleanly to any format, with sound that outpaces any streaming platform. Hard to find copy! Media looks in Excellent Plus condition. Case / insert / booklet are: Excellent Plus (EX+): original smooth edge case shows normal shelf wear, not cracked not broken, works like it's supposed to. Booklet is clean, but there are 2 dents on the right side from the plastic holders, and a few other wrinkles/creases on the front/back sides, but nothing major. Please see pictures, what you see is what you get. Overall in Excellent Plus condition
