Seller's Notes: Import

Collector Notes: In 1980 Japan's national broadcaster NHK set out to film the ancient Silk Road across China, and gave the music to a young synthesizer player named Kitaro. His slow, glowing themes became as famous in Japan as the series itself, and they carried his name to the rest of the world. Kitaro had played keyboards in the Far East Family Band, whose records Klaus Schulze produced in Germany, and you can hear that cosmic-music schooling here, set against long Asian melodies built for desert landscapes and caravans at dusk. Both volumes of the soundtrack together in one double case. Both discs are in near mint condition. Booklet is clean and sharp, shows minimal signs of wear, and a Celestial Harmonies catalogue/booklet is still in the case.

Curated by Collectors, for Collectors. Backed by 20+ years and 25,000+ sales with 100% positive feedback. Every pressing is verified before it ships.
