About the album

Get Lucky is the second studio album by the Canadian hard rock band Loverboy, released October 7, 1981, by Columbia Records. Bruce Fairbairn produced it, with Mike Reno credited on eight of the nine songs and Paul Dean among the credited writers; Discogs lists it under Hard Rock, Pop Rock and Arena Rock. The album featured the singles "Working for the Weekend," "When It's Over," "Lucky Ones" and "Take Me to the Top." The cover, with its red leather pants, was chosen by CBC Music staff in 2014 as one of the 50 greatest Canadian album covers. It reached number 7 on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 4 million copies in the United States.
