About the album
Maestro Zone is the third studio album by Canadian rapper Maestro Fresh Wes, released April 21, 1992 on Polydor/PolyGram as a re-packaged version of The Black Tie Affair with four new songs. Just before its release, he moved to Brooklyn, New York, in an attempt to expand his fanbase in the US. A fascinating chapter for anyone tracing the roots of rap north of the border.
