About the album
This was Pestilence's third album, released in 1991, and the point where Patrick Mameli steered the band toward a more melodic and technical approach, with progressive and jazz fusion elements and a brief instrumental outro following each song. Recorded at Morrisound in Tampa, Florida with Scott Burns, it balances death metal aggression with growing instrumental ambition.
