Collector Notes: Gary Nunez's ensemble doing what almost nobody else does: bomba and plena, the oldest Afro-Puerto Rican forms, arranged with a full modern horn section. Ten tracks including La Plena Es Libre, El Impulso Colorao, Como Son Las Cosas, Tumbao and Aqui Todo Esta Bien. Multiple Grammy nominations came out of this run. Booklet shows a light dent on the top side, but nothing major.
