Collector Notes: Santana's first greatest-hits set, and it is really a Woodstock-era band retrospective — Evil Ways, Jingo, Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Samba Pa Ti and Everything's Coming Our Way pulled off the first three albums. Half of it is Santana making other people's songs his own: Black Magic Woman is Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac tune, Oye Como Va is Tito Puente's, Jingo came from Nigerian drummer Babatunde Olatunji and Evil Ways from Sonny Henry — all credited right on the disc. Ten tracks, the Joel Baldwin dove photograph on the cover. Early Columbia pressing, not one of the later reissues. Disc is in near mint condition, Booklet shows light signs of wear.
