Seller's Notes: Remastered, Sealed, 24k Gold Disc

Collector Notes: Couldn't Stand The Weather is Stevie Ray Vaughan's second album with Double Trouble, cut in 1984 at the Power Station in New York with John Hammond — the producer who discovered Billie Holiday and signed Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen — as executive producer. Scuttle Buttin' opens it at full gallop, big brother Jimmie Vaughan plays rhythm guitar on the title track, and Stevie takes on Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) and Guitar Slim's The Things (That) I Used To Do, plus Cold Shot, Honey Bee and the jazz swing of Stang's Swang. This is Sony's MasterSound edition: remastered by Gavin Lurssen with 20-bit Super Bit Mapping on a 24-karat gold disc, in the Collector's Edition slipcase with the gold disc showing through the window. Still factory sealed, Epic EK 64425; the wrap is tight and clean, see pictures. NEW!
