Collector Notes: One of the more unexpected collaborations in Latin music: Tania Libertad, the Peruvian-born singer who became one of Mexico's most respected voices, making a bolero record with Phil Manzanera — the guitarist from Roxy Music, who was raised partly in Latin America and speaks the language fluently. Miguel Bosé, Armando Manzanero, Iván Lins and Azúcar Moreno all guest. Eleven tracks including 'Flor De Azalea,' 'Tres Palabras' and 'Amor Gitano.' Manzanera's guitar gives the whole thing a texture no standard bolero session has. Booklet shows a few dents on corners and sides.
