March 1964, the album the Beach Boys rushed out while the Beatles were taking over the charts, and it holds up on the strength of its first two songs alone: Fun, Fun, Fun and Don't Worry Baby, the Brian Wilson answer to Be My Baby. The Warmth Of The Sun, written the weekend of the Kennedy assassination, In The Parkin' Lot, Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Keep An Eye On Summer, and Denny's Drums. This is the 2001 Capitol remaster in the original mono and stereo mixes.
