About the album

Released in 2008, The Bedlam in Goliath is the fourth studio album from The Mars Volta. The making of the record was fraught with strange occurrences after an experience with a Ouija board, and themes and names from the board's messages found their way into the lyrics. Thomas Pridgen's explosive drumming propels the whole thing, and "Wax Simulacra" earned the band a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. It's a demanding, maximalist listen that rewards repeated spins, capturing Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala at full creative intensity.

CD is: Near Mint (NM) played once or twice, shows virtually no signs of wear, plays and transfers cleanly to any format, with sound that outpaces any streaming platform. Hard to find copy. Media looks in Near Mint condition. Case / insert / booklet are: Excellent Plus (EX+): original super jewel case shows normal shelf wear, but notice the 2 cracks on the front bottom of case, and a broken piece on the bottom back case(see pictures). Booklet is clean, but there is a deep dent on the back left side from the plastic holder! Please see pictures, what you see is what you get. Overall in Excellent Plus condition. Act fast
