Seller's Notes: Import

Collector Notes: In 1956 Miles Davis owed Prestige several albums before he could move to Columbia, so he took his quintet with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones into Rudy Van Gelder's studio for two marathon days and recorded them live in the room, one take after another. Those sessions became Cookin', Relaxin', Workin' and Steamin', the last of the four: Surrey With The Fringe On Top, Salt Peanuts, Something I Dreamed Last Night, Diane, Well You Needn't and When I Fall In Love, in mono. Disc is in near mint condition. Booklet shows 2 deep dents on the back top/bottom sides from the plastic holders. Includes original smooth case.

Curated by Collectors, for Collectors. Backed by 20+ years and 25,000+ sales with 100% positive feedback. Every pressing is verified before it ships.
